WEC2013 2nd USB HOST on PCOMA5

  • Hello,

I tried to get a 2nd USB Host with WEC2013 on a PCOMA5. I used this commands (ndcucfg):

    Reg open \Drivers\BuiltIn\usbfn

Reg set value Flags dword 4

    Reg open \Drivers\BuiltIn\usb0

    Reg del value Flags

    Reg save

    After a reboot I had a bootloop on my PCOMA5 (V2).

Doing the same on WinCE6 works fine.

I used the newest WEC2013 kernel (XIPVYB_C8E_V2.9_180404.bin) and an older one - same result.

I also compared the USB registry settings on WinCE6 and WEC2013 - they look to be the same.

    Any ideas?

    Regards Erich

  • Hello,

you are right - the configuration seems to be the same as on WEC6 and it is correct. This interface is not included into our default SW test so i have to check it in more detail and will come back here.

  • Hello,

    some new details:

meanwhile I also tested the WEC2013 kernel V2.2 which seems to work. It seems that the new USB-HOST-problem startet with WEC2013 kernel V2.3 (and later versions).

  • Ok, thanks for this information.

Unfortunately it is required to modify my HW for two USB host.
