Hello,
how can i use this dll?
I know abt. the Settings for a VPN Session on Win2k and xp. (long Work as Admin of a Linux System with VPN for
Administration from home over DSL)
So how can i set the Registry to run the Dll on a Picomod1? (the DLL is in \FFSDISK) and how can i set the Values
of the Username and Password (shown in the Dialog of Win2k bzw xp ont PC) in the Registry or an other Point on the
CE Device (Picomod).
Thanks for Help

Hello,
i am not sure if i understand your questions right?
But registry settings for deploy dll on WCE device are contained in the zip-file.
For more details you can refer the msdn link.
You can graphically adjust settings under "Control Panel -> NetWork and Dailup Connections -> New Connection -> select VPN -> ..." -
Hello Zutter,
i read your Answer. Are i'm right that this is a pptp Client? First i'm thinking that it is a vpn server what i'm looking for primary.
The Picomod's are used in a Control Equipment that was periodic Updated with new program Data and it is a little securer when we can use a VPN to do this.
But perhaps this Dll isn't the right thing to do that?
thanks Wilfried -
Hello,
Currently there is no VPN server available for WinCE.
An option for you could be the usage of SSH for WinCE.

Hello,
can you please send a request to sales@fs-net.de?
First we have to check if we can do this for free (complexity!).
Best would be you order a custom kernel. -
Hello,
I want to copy files from my PC over the network to the PicoMod. I think I have to use a PPTP connection, but how should I make the setup on both the PicoMod and my PC?
thanks for help.

Hello,
you may use FTP for file transfer! -
Hello,
I saw that I may use FTP, but how can I use FTP? what steps have to be done to setup an FTP connection between a PC and the PicoMod? is there a FTP server for the PicoMod?
best regard
Bart -
FTP server is not available on PicoMOD by default. But you may install this feature with a cab installer later. It is available in the download area of NetDCU8 (klick here).

hello,
thanks for your quick response. but I still can't connect from my pc to the ftp server on the picomod3. I've installed the ftpd.CAB on the picomod and checked the registry. but when I try to upload a file (using Tftpd32.exe) the picomod response with : port unreachable.
port used: 69 (standard TFTP). Is there something else I should set in registry? or why doesn't work it?best regard,

hello,
I've tried to access the PicoMod via http. IP address of the device is 192.168.1.129, so I've tried to access via IE, address: http://192.168.1.129/WebAdmin. then a login box came up (like in the attachment). my question: can I access files on the picomod like this, and what is the user name and password?
best regard,

Hello,
i think authentication settings are responsibe for this behavior! Refer http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa924146.aspx.But for file transfer is easier to handle by ftp then by http!
Install ftp.cab and use IE with ftp://<ipaddress> -

In your first post I don't see anything about FTP. As my colleague posted before make sure FTP server is running and try to access it in your explorer with ftp://<ip-address> .
Maybe our Device Spy utility might be helpful in this case. -
Is this also usable for wec2013 and efusA9 ?
