I want to display text-messages on the tft-display during updating kernel-firmware and rootfs-firmware under uboot.
For example 'Updating kernel ...'.
Can you give me a brief tutorial on this ?

First of all you have to configure and enable your display using the lcd command. (Some lcd commands to set up the display resolution, timings and signal polarities, then "lcd on" to activate the display). Then you can use the draw command to draw text (and other things) to the display. Please have a look at the file NewUBootCommands.txt that explains all these commands in detail.
Please note that we are currently working on lifting PicoMOD6 to a newer kernel version and also a newer U-Boot version. There we will also do some improvements on the draw command that will unfortunately change the syntax a little bit. So be prepared to do some changes if you want to stay in sync with the newest version.
