Serial communication with PicoCom4 without startinterface board

    Dear All,
    while we awaiting the startinterface board for our PicoCom4 modules I would like to try to establish already communication with the modul via the DCUTerm as described in "PicoCom- First Steps" documentation.
    So when I use a standard USB to serial adapter with 3.3volt logic level and connect the Rx and Tx lines to the COM1 lines onto Pin 17/18 of the PicoCom4 as well as the operation voltage, can I communicate with the PicoCom from a usual win laptop?

    please do *not* connect only power and Serial port pins. All pins have to be terminated correctly else the board may be destroyed! Use onls SKIT or your own HW base board.


    Both serial ports are provide with 3.3V TTL signals.
