For users of the BeeMobile iPack (targeting .NET Compact Framework 2.0 and 3.5), please note the following:
iPack has been discontinued. BeeMobile now provides packages based on .NET Framework 4.5 and modern .NET, with support for Linux via Mono or Avalonia. These solutions may be relevant for customers planning to migrate existing WinCE applications to Linux.
Running applications with Mono on Linux allows a significant portion of an existing .NET Framework and WinForms codebase to be reused without a complete rewrite. However, some adjustments may still be required, particularly when working with hardware interfaces.
