Is Vybrid's Cortex-M4 used in PicoCOMA5?
As I see in kernel default configuration, support for Multicore communication with Cortex-M4 is turned off. Therefore I suppose that Cortex-M4 is unused.
Am I correct? If so - do you plan to use it in the future?

Yes you're right, they are not used in standard U-Boot. However I need them in my modification 
I found an error in U-Boot source - file include/s3c6410.h. U-Boot version 1.3.4.

Link is now ok, but there is still some problem with 10/100 and half/full duplex flags. This problem occures when switching between different networks. I tryid two networks - 10/half and 100/full. First network after PicoCOM start is detected correctly. But once 100/full is conneted, 10/half is not detected any more.
Here is an example - 10/half connected while system starts then changed into 100/full and then back to 10/half:

I have encountered one problem while trying to signal properties of connected network. Even link status is not available in linux. Linux always behaves as link is up, doesn't matter wheather LAN cable is connected or not. There is ETH-ACT signal directly in PicoCOM3 J1 connector and this signal shows link status correctly but as I said no changes are available in linux. How to fix it?

I tried arecord too to capture audio and I can confirm this behaviour.
I even grounded both LIN and RIN but when I look through wav file recorded I can see that one channel is ok (zero samples) while the second channel is full of 1-sample-length peaks. Their amplitude is always to maximum, some are positive, some negative. Distance between peaks is variable, but seems to be approx 3,7ms or multiple of this value (typically 7,5ms or 11,5ms).
I just found out that NBoot works - its just you have to press and hold 's' key before device starts. Otherwise NBoot will not capture 's' char - its way too impatient.
I mean I tried to send 's' chars via serial line while restarting board and I obtained no NBoot response, only std. u-boot communication.
As I am not provided with any NBoot documentation, I suppose that it uses the same serial line as the one used by u-boot communication. And I also suppose that the serial line configuration is the same as u-boot's - 38400b/s 8b, 1stop bit, no parity and no flow control.

I'd like to know, wheather is there any way of upgrading u-boot different than upgrade it via running u-boot.
If new u-boot doesn't run correctly, I will not be able to downgrade the system back to previous u-boot version.
In PicoMOD1 I used stepping stone for u-boot debugging and upgrading, but there is no stepping stone in PicoCOM3. Could NBoot be used for such upgrade or is there another way?

I was then trying to find out why exif modul is preseting - that's because there is libexif 0.6.16 in host linux (according to result of pkg-config).
Could I somehow manually turn off metadata feature? I don't know what part of system is using this library and how could I get rid of it.

I was generating embedded system for PicoCOM3, but after few hours of downloading and compiling modules, buildroot stopped due to errors in gst-plugins-bad 0.10.14. I tried other versions of this module, but there are errors anyway.
There are many errors during compilation of metadataexif.c - undeclared EXIF_TAG_xxxx, probably missing some header file.
Could you recommend me, how can I get rid of this error - use some other version or somehow disable exif compilation?
I used buildroot downloaded from f&s archive, default PicoCOM3 config, I upgraded make to version 3.82, my host linux is also upgraded.

First I tried to call arm-linux-gcc, but because of error I tried to use arm-fs-linux-gnueabi-gcc directly as arm-linux-gcc is only a link. Anyway there is no difference in their behaviour, the same error message is returned.

I have installed fs-toolchain-4.4.3 according to document README.txt, but when I try to compile linux kernel, every call of arm-fs-linux-gnueabi-gcc displays message "Floating point exception".
Even if I try to show version of gcc, the same message appears.
Where could be problem?
PC where toolchain is installed runs under slax (slackware), version 2.6.16 (gcc 3.4.6).

Yes, there is documentation, but I'm still missing some info about linux PicoCOM3 - as it was mentioned in readme.txt, there should be a document "Linux on PicoMOD6.pdf". I suppose that this document should be useful even for PicoCOM3, but I didn't find it anywhere.

I was looking for any documentation on <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://download.fs-net.de">http://download.fs-net.de</a><!-- m -->. There is only notice in README.txt which says that there are many documents in doc directory. But such a directory is not available under PicoCOM. Maybe it is available under PicoMOD6 as these devices have the same linux, but I have insufficient rights to look in PicoMOD6 folder.
Can you add documentacion under PicoCOM3 directory?
