For the record, i found something usefull in a github repo:

with a bit of porting it seems that works.
Still pending a test, will update after.
Update: goodix controller needs a configuration to be downloaded and little info is provided on the fields of the configuration but after many tweaks and a lot of pain it worked!
I am trying to use a 10.1” (1024x600) touch screen with a GT911 CTP controller (using only one touch point) into one of our products although I couldn’t find a suitable driver for the used Linux kernel version (the closest version with the driver seems to be the 3.19 on the github repo). Could you please help me out with the porting to the Kernel 3.0.15 of such driver?

I found the platform data under " arch/arm/mach-mvf/mach-armstonea5.c " , there you can set the prefered screen resolution.

i have loaded the binaries of the fsvybrid default configuration build on to the armStoneA5, athough i have an LVDS display with 1024x600 resolution and what i see is that the shown resolution is kept at 800x480. What do i need to change in the Kernel build configuration in order to have a resolution of 1024x600?
