Maximum supply current for TFT

    I connected an EDT-TFT to the NetDcu. This TFT has a LED-Backlight and it takes the power for the backlight out of the 3,3V supply for the TFT. I measured the current the NetDcu8 hat to supply for the TFT and the Backlight, it is about 450mA on pin 25 of J3 (VLCD). Is this okay for the NetDcu8? What is the maximum current I can get from VLCD?

    Dear Dirk,
    sorry for the long delay. The maximum power consumtion from VLCD @ NetDCU8 is 180mA@3.3V and 2.7A@5V. Thats because the limitations of the onboard 5Vto3.3V regulator. So you need en external power supply for your 3.3V display.
