We have uploaded the PicoCOM3 GPIO Reference Card to our web server now. Sorry for the delay.
Hi,
In the PicoCOM3 Hardware guide, pin 24 has the name IO7 USB PWR. But in the GPIO Reference Card, this pin does not have a GPIO name or a /sys/class/gpio number.
Is this pin somehow accessible as GPIO?
I hope it is, since our hardware engineer assumed a pin with name IO7 to be a software configurable IO pin.
Any advice how to use this pin?
Thanks
Yes, you are right, the pin 24 is I/O-capable. I have updated the PicoCOM3 GPIO Reference Card accordingly.
However please keep in mind that at the moment the pin *will* be initialized by the USB driver if you have configured CONFIG_USB_SUPPORT. See arch/arm/mach-s3c6410/fs-support.c in function otg_phy_init().
