Display Mode

  • Hello

I use a PicoCOM4 Starterkit with Hitachi TX09D70 LCD to develop a driver for a different LCD.

The default display mode of the kernel is 2, The Hitachi works fine without any changes.
When I load the config file from the FS website, the mode change to 100 and it works still fine.
After changing the display mode to any value between 0..7 and back to 2, the LCD is dead.
Loading the config file with Mode 100 don't help.

The only way to get an output again to the Hitachi is to erase the partition and reload the Kernel image.

    Any idea?

    Regards, Jakob

  • Please try to adjust contrast voltage with ndcucfg:

    Code
    1. display contrast set 0

    or

    Code
    1. display contrast set 0xfff

It might be possible that the contrast voltage has been changed by another mode.

To get back to the default settings you can also just erase the Registry:
Start to the eboot("S") an press "R".
