Pocket Text editor not working

Hello.

I need to have a text editor for Windows CE 6.0. Under Windows CE 5 I used "Pocket Text Editor", which worked fine. However it doesn't work under PicoMOD3. I am not sure that it comes from the OS. The cabinet file is not understood by windows, and when I execute the .exe file, there is an unhandled exception, which doesn't come up under PicoMOD1.

Do you have any other text editor which is working under picoMOD3, or else is it possible to have a look at the problem with Pocket Text editor?

Thank you for the explanation. Unfortunately this program works but it isn't able to open up my configuration file, I don't know why (strange characters for the whole file. Maybe it is due to the fact that the configuration file is in unicode and that this is not supported with this editor). Only the Pocket Text editor was working on Windows CE 5.0.

Any other testing will be appreciated.

I finally found out this free text editor program for windows CE 6.0, called 'pocketNotepad' from Tillanosoft (V1.6) which is downloadable here:

It works great on my side and allows me to open up unicode files and save them, just what I need.
