Case available for armStoneA5?

    Is there a case available for the armStoneA5? Since it is PicoITX, I wonder if there exists an appropriate one. Or is the inteded use without any case?


    What is the concept behind the placement of the connectors? Obviously three sides of the armStone are used for placing some kind of connectors. Is there a case which supports this? Openings on three sides to access connectors?

    We from F&S do not provide any cases. You have to get one from a third party.


    The side with ethernet, audio and USB connectors is the side intended to be placed to the case wall and used from outside, The other connectors are meant to be used for internal purposes: connectors for LCD, touch, power and extensions are usually not accessible by the end user directly, they are only connected within the device.


    The SD card slot is an exception. This might be useful for the end user, too, but then it should be a standard size SD card. We also would not know if the card should stick out for some millimeters so that the user could press on it to release the card. But then we don't know how thick the casing will be and how many millimeters would be best. In the end we decided against this and used a Micro SD slot instead that is now also meant for internal use only.
