ARMstoneA9r4 + WEC7 latest support

    we have just received the latest CPUs ARMstoneA9r4. This CPUs replaces to ARMstoneA9r2 we got in production with eboot and kernel tested and approved (eboot v2.4 and kernel v3.20).

    We found new r4 are not exactly the same board as we was told (only PHY IC was changed) and seems there are many differences, even PCB route is totally new.

    Going to your download area, we see there is new modifications to eboot and kernels for supporting this new r4 CPUs, and this situation surprised us because we want to use exactly same eboot and kernel from previous r2 version.

    Can you confirm this ?

    If so, can you tell us what eboot and WEC7 kernel must use for this new CPU?

    Seems eboot v2.6 is neccesary but it is not available in downlaod area...

    Are you going to create a specific download area for this CPU, or will be shared with r2 ?

    Can you upload latest WEC7 kernel too for this CPU? seems it is v3.50 but according to roadmap it still under development ... and adding changes ... can we have the latest version ?

    Among other things we need touch AR1100 working, CAN bus working... on WEC7 for r4,... is it?

    you received a PCN from you distributor that for change from armStoneA9R2 to armStoneA9R4 new kernel an N-/EBoot are required!


    You have to use EBoot V2.6 for armStoneA9R4. Previous EBoot do not know the "R4" board!

    Sorry, there is an issue in kernel V3.5 concerning armStoneA9R4 and WEC7. We provide you corrected V3.6 asp.

    can you upload eboot v2.6 to dowload area (by error we flashed eboot v2.4 to one this CPUs) and need to reflash with v2.6.


    and waiting for this new WEC7 kernel v3.6 too we need asap.
