In der DCU-L7 wurden neue Zeichensätze programmiert.
Eine kompilierte Datei DCUL7V4.DEF ist zirka 9 MB groß.
Nach einschalten dauert zirka 7[s] bis die DCU Betriebsbereit ist.
Kann man die Zeit reduzieren?

i think we cannot short boot time using the same *.def file. But i have to talk to our system developers for details. They are on vacation and will be back at KW35/09.
An other possibility may be to short *.def file by short fonts. Especialy "far east fonts" contain a lot of charcters which may never used in your text. We offer a tool which exclude these characters from font. Do you already use this tool? -
The DCUL7 copies the DEF file from flash to RAM on startup to increase speed at runtime. Most of the 7 seconds is required for exactly this. With a shorter file, the delay is only about 1 to 2 seconds.
If the main part of the DEF file is occupied by the fonts, there is only the solution already mentioned by fs-support_ZU: reducing the font sizes by throwing out unused characters.
