• Hello,

we need a lot of GPIO's from the PCoreMX8MM-V5-LIN (PCoreMX8MM-V6-LIN). Most of the GPIOs are working, but the following pins are always LOW:

    J1 Pin 46 GPIO1_IO4

    J1 Pin 52 GPIO1_IO8

    J1 Pin 54 GPIO1_IO15.

The last two pins are marked as optional GPIOs depending on the assembly variation. We don't know if they are routed to the external connector ?

We also found all three pins in the Device-Tree for CONFIG_PICOCOREMX8MX_MIPI_DSI_LVDS . We have tested the new devicetree with #undef CONFIG_PICOCOREMX8MX_MIPI_DSI_LVDS but it doesn't work.

    Thanks !

  • Hello,

at the moment we only have PCoreMX8MM-V5-LIN boards. In our new project we will switch to PCoreMX8MM-V6-LIN.

What about J2 Pin 83, 85, 87, 89. Are these pins available if we don't need the SPI_C on PCoreMX8MM-V5 / PCoreMX8MM-V6. We are a little bit confused about the comment "with CAN FD".

    Thanks !

  • The i.MX8M-Mini does not provide an internal CAN-Controller. So we have added a separate CAN-Controller that is connected via SPI to the i.MX8M-Mini. So on all those board variants, where the CAN-Controller is available, SPI_C is internally used for the CAN controller and the pins J2_83/85/87/89 are not connected. On PCoreMX8MM-V5-LIN and also PCoreMX8MM-V6-LIN, the CAN-Controller is present, which means that the pins on the connector are not available.
